Bride is one of the most beloved Celtic deities of all. She is a triple Goddess, her aspects being that of smithcraft, poetry and healing. She is traditionally the daughter of the Dagda and one of the few Celtic deities to make a clean transition from Pagan to Catholic worship. She became the Catholic St. Brigit. According to Catholic Legend, she was born in a druid's household, very fitting considering Pagan Brigit is considered to be a patron of the druids. She is still worshipped today by many Pagans. Her festival is Imbolc, which is celebrated around February 2. Brigit also was the Goddess of the flame at Kildare
