Welcome to Wales!

Wales is home to many wonderful Celtic deities like Rhiannon, Arianrhod and Cerridwen. Be careful though, some of these women can become extremely angry. If one of them confronts you and asks you to stir their cauldron for them, do not, I repeat do not make the mistake of tasting the brew!

Afagddu- son of Cerridwen
Amaethon- God of agriculture, husbandry, luck, son of Don, brother of Gwydion
Arawn- God of the underworld, terror, revenge and war
Arianrhod- Magickal Goddess, Deity of reincarnation, daughter of Beli and Don, Sister of Gwydion and Gilfaethwy, mother of Dylan and Lleu Llaw Gyffes
Avalloc- father of Modron
Belatu-Cadros- God of war and the destruction of enemies
Beli- The Welsh form of Bel and Belenus. Father of Arianrhod, lover of Don
Blodeuwedd- Made out of flowers as a wife for Lleu Llaw Gyffes
Cerridwen- Moon, grain and nature Goddess, a magickal Goddess, mother of Afagddu
Creiddylad- daughter of Llyr
Don- Goddess of the air and sea, mother of Amaethon and Arianrhod. Equivalent to Irish Danu
Dylan- Sea god, brother of Lleu, son of Gwydion and Arianrhod
Gilfaethwy- brother of Arianrhod and Gwydion. Celebrated at Beltaine.
Goibhniu- God of weapons
Gwydion- Warrior and Magickal God, brother to Arianrhod, Amaethon and Gilfaethwy foster-father of Lleu and Dylan
Gwynn ap Nudd- God of the underworld, originally a war God, sometimes thought of as the King of the Faeries.
Lleu- the many-skilled God. Is a druid, carpenter, poet and mason. Same as Irish Lugh
Lleu Llaw Gyffes- husband to Blodeuwedd, brother of Dylan, son of Gwydion and Arianrhod
LLyr- God of waters and the sea, father of Creiddylad. Same as Irish Lir
Mabon- son of Modron
Math Mathonwy- God of magick, sorcery and enchantment
Modron- daughter of Avalloc, mother of Mabon
Olwen- Goddess of flowers and springtime
Pryderi- son of Pwyll and Rhiannon
Pwyll- Married Rhiannon, has a son, Pryderi
Rhiannon- Goddess of the underworld and horses. married to Pwyll, mother of Pryderi
Taliesin- God of song, patron of druids
